Updating Email Template in MYOB

To make it quick and easy for your customers to pay, every MYOB invoice email should include a link to your Marmalade payment page.

Note: Marmalade currently works with MYOB Online only. If you’re using MYOB Desktop, our Customer Success team is here to guide you through a smooth transition to MYOB Online.


Step 1: Navigate to Sales Settings

  1. Log in to your MYOB account.

  2. Click your Business Name in the top, right corner.

  3. Select Sales Settings from the drop-down menu.
     

 

Step 2: Open the Email Defaults Tab

Under Sales Settings, click the Email Defaults tab.

 

Step 3: Update the Default Invoice Email

  1. Locate the Default Invoice Email section.

  2. Find the latest email in your inbox from Marmalade with the subject line: “Congratulations, you’re now backed by Marmalade.” This will allow you to add your unique Marmalade payment link to every email template.

  3. Paste the exact text from the email into the body of the text editor.

  4. Confirm that the pasted text includes your unique Marmalade payment link. 

 

Step 5: Navigate to Reminders Tab

Under Sales settings, click the Reminders tab.

 

Step 6: Click on the Reminders Settings Button 

Within the Reminders tab, click on Reminders Settings.

 

Step 7: Unselect Send Invoice Reminders

Unselect the option to Send Invoice Reminders. Marmalade will deliver reminders on your behalf.

 

Step 8: Save Changes

Once you have applied the changes, click Save.

 

Your email template is now updated with your unique Marmalade payment link in MYOB.
