To make it quick and easy for your customers to pay, every Xero invoice email should include a link to your Marmalade payment page.
Step 1: Navigate to Settings
Log in to your Xero account.
Select Settings in the upper, left corner.
Step 2: Click on Email Settings
Under General, select Email Settings.
Step 3: Under Templates, Click Edit
Find Templates, and click on Edit to the right.
Step 4: Update the Sales Invoice Template
Select the Sales Invoice template to open the configuration window.
Step 5: Unselect the Inclusion of Online Invoicing & Summary
Since the Marmalade payment link is already included, unselect the option to Include Quick Link to Online Invoice and Detail Summary.
Step 6: Add Your Marmalade Payment Link
In the configuration window, scroll down to the body of the text editor.
Find the latest email in your inbox from Marmalade with the subject line: “Congratulations, you’re now backed by Marmalade.” This will allow you to add your unique Marmalade payment link to every email template.
Paste the exact text from the email into the body of the text editor.
Confirm that the pasted text includes your unique Marmalade payment link.
Step 7: Click Save
Click Save to finalise your changes.
Now, when you a customer clicks on your unique payment link, they'll be prompted to pay via the following page.
Your default email template is now updated with your unique Marmalade payment link in Xero. If you require any further support, please contact our Customer Experience team at support@withmarmalade.com.
