Your Marmalade Status

The Marmalade Status is determined by your adoption of Marmalade.

The higher the status the, lower the Status Fee, with a minimum Status Fee of 0% for Platinum Status. The Status Fee is combined with the Customer Fee to determine the pricing and availability of invoices for cash-in.

If the cash-in fee is less than 4.99% the invoice will appear in the Available or Conditionally Available tab and will be available for you to cash-in.

You will commence your Marmalade journey on Platinum Status and need to ensure the minimum percentage of invoice issuance and payments into your Marmalade account is maintained to remain on Platinum. 

Understanding your Status:

  • Your Status is based on how you adopt Marmalade and is influenced by factors within your control
  • Each Status has an associated Status Fee as outlined below:
    • Bronze: 0.5%
    • Silver: 0.2%
    • Gold: 0.1%
    • Platinum 0.0%

 

Factors that influence your Status:

Your Status is driven by 3 important practices, which are fundamental to converting your invoices into cash without any loans or any guarantees

  1. Issuance: The greater % of invoices you issue with Marmalade's payment details, the higher your Status
  2. Payments: The greater % of invoices that your customers pay through Marmalade, the higher your Status
  3. Resolution: Should a cash-in no longer meet the terms outlined in the Marmalade Supplier Agreement, the invoice will need to be repaid to Marmalade by you and not your Customer - if these are repaid within the required timeframe, you will maintain a higher status

Status Reviews:

Review Timing:

Your Status is reviewed on the 1st of each month.

Review Requirements:

All 3 thresholds (Issuance, Payments, and Resolution) are required to be met in order to maintain or move up a Status. If these are not met for 2 consecutive months, your Status will be downgraded.

Status Changes:

Marmalade wants to support your successful adoption of the product, which is why you can only move down one Status at a time and 2 months is provided to meet the minimum requirements for your current Status.

On the flip side if the requirements for a higher Status are met you will be able to move up to the Status applicable to your invoice and payments for the previous month.
