[Draft] Updating Email Templates in Quickbooks

To make it quick and easy for your customers to pay, every QuickBooks invoice email should include a link to your Marmalade payment page.

Step 1: Open Custom Form Styles

  1. Log in to QuickBooks.

  2. Click the Settings icon in the top-right corner.

  3. Select Custom Form Styles from the menu.

Step 2: Edit Your Default Invoice Style

  1. Find the style marked as Default.

  2. Click Edit to open the style editor.

Step 3: Select Emails Tab

Under the sub-sections, select the Emails tab.

Step 4: Deselect Summarised Details, Select PDF Attached

  1. Under the How your invoice appears in emails drop-downs, select Full details and PDF Attached.

Step 5: Deselect the Greeting Option

Given that templated text already includes a greeting, deselect the Use greeting option.

Step 6: Input Payment Details

  1. Under Message to customer, paste the exact text from your latest email from Marmalade, with the subject line: “Congratulations, you’re now backed by Marmalade.” This will add your unique Marmalade payment link to each invoice email.

Step 6: Turn off Reminders

Select the Reminder email drop-down, and remove all populated text. Marmalade will handle reminders for you, so you need to turn off QuickBooks reminders.

Step 6: Select Done

Your default Branding Theme now includes your Marmalade payment details.
